Bouquet #3 - February 2026
Midcentury Modern vibes in Bouquet #3 all started with the color palette used in this floral surface pattern. I love navy blue, it’s the basic black in my life. The inspiration drew me in with its deep navy and complimentary pops of orange. I also pulled some of the floral shapes I used.

I started with brushes from Art with Flo and Alaina Jensen. For the color palette, I used the color dropper tool in Procreate to pull the colors from the inspiration piece. I added a subtle details to the some of the flowers and the leaves. The texture on the vase comes from the texture overlay on the entire piece to mimic painting on canvas. The florals and vase all came from Botanical Silhouettes set from Kelly Burke.
There was just something that really spoke to me with the bright pops of color tucked into the moody darkness of the navy blue. While my palette is a bit more muted in the shades I chose, I really love the tone and the mood the piece conveys.
Stay tuned for the Bouquet #4.
