Bouquet #2 - February 2026
As I continue this series, I continue to find inspiration. Today’s piece found it’s way into my February collage challenge when I told myself it was high time I stopped pinning new ideas and started using the ones I already had on the many Pinterest boards I’ve built. This Bouquet #2 steeped in vintage vibes and bold rich colors.

I was inspired by this mixed media pin from @stephaniefielden. I really loved the pops of red and sharpness of the black laid on top of the collage background.
For my version, I started with brushes from Always Be Coloring and Alaina Jensen. Then I pulled in elements from the Botanical Silhouettes set from Kelly Burke. I wanted more colors and textures. I pulled in additional colors, working with a vintage color palette for the background and bold dark colors for the bouquet. I chose to leave the vase as the bold statement in the piece with the red to draw the eye up. I really felt like magic happened when I created this.
Are you ready for Bouqute #3? Teaser… It’s has a Midcentury Modern vibe to it.
