Looking back on the art I’ve been making for the past few months I’ve done quite a bit of digital work. I started really delving into Procreate when we went on Vacation earlier this year, and I haven’t stopped exploring the possibilities since. While planning for our vacation in late February and early March of his year I opted to take only my camera and iPad. No knitting, no sketch book, no art supplies. This was the first time I’d ever taken only my iPad, with the intent of creating art while on a vacation. I had a plan to limit my supplies and challenge myself to only using procreate. My plan worked, I learned a lot about procreate and I enjoyed to process. The biggest thing I learned was how very freeing being able to sit on the couch or the porch at night with just an iPad and a pencil was. In an effort to do some stash busting and use up some of the little bits, I seem to hoard, I created a few of these cute little Hello Tags. They'll be great to use as is or to add as an embellishment to another project. I started by creating a party on my desk with some word and tag die cuts. I used the Stitched Tags from My Favorite Things. I just recently purchased these, and I can tell you they will be well used. I just love all the sizes and the stitched detail of these dies. I used my Xyron sticker maker to add adhesive to the back of the "hello" die cuts. All of the tags I cut were from some embossed paper scraps in my stash. Keep in mind I rarely toss scraps. When I trim a panel to create a card the scraps are tossed into a basket on my desk. These little scraps are perfect for creating these tags.
